Recommended Contrast Agents :

Gastrointestinal:
Barium Sulfate (any),or Gastrografin (Brocco Diagnostics, Princeton, NJ)

Intravenous, Intrathecal, or Intraperitoneal:
Iodine as Isovue-300 (Brocco Diagnostics, Princeton, NJ), MicroFil Yellow (Flow Tek Inc, Carver, MA) [optionally, use gelatin with Barium in non-surviving animals], or Iodinated triglyceride blood pool agent (be sure to ask about academic discounts; individual doses (0.4ml) available from our facility at $40/dose).

Note: Order of Contrast Agent Utility: Gold > Iodine > Gadolidium > Lead > Calcium

Instructions for Sample Preparations:
1. Only ONE sample per request
2. Your specimen MUST be less than 88 x 88mm in diameter
3. All non-living specimens must be COMPLETELY SEALED in an AIR-TIGHT CONTAINER

Examples of acceptable containers include conical tubes and microfuge tubes. For irregularly shaped or larger specimens, we suggest a "Seal-A-Meal" bag over the Rival Bag.
