The Genome Sequencing Facility (GSF) at the Greehey Children’s Cancer Research Institute (GCCRI), in collaboration with 10x Genomics, is excited to invite you to an immersive, hands-on Xenium™ In Situ Gene Expression Data Analysis Workshop.
With the recent acquisition of the Xenium platform—supported by NIH S10 grant S10OD038331—GSF now offers access to cutting-edge, imaging-based spatial transcriptomics technology. Xenium uses highly multiplexed fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) to visualize transcripts at single-molecule resolution, enabling unprecedented insights into cellular organization and gene expression within intact tissue.
To help you fully unlock the power of this technology, this workshop is designed to guide participants through the entire data analysis workflow, emphasizing practical skills and real-world applications. Data interpretation is key to successful spatial transcriptomics studies, and this session will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to move from raw data to meaningful biological insights.
Led by expert scientists from 10x Genomics, the workshop will cover:
Presentation by: Aaron Boswell, Associate Director of Product Development, TwinStrand Biosciences
Join us for this webinar on how TwinStrand Biosciences Duplex Sequencing™ Technology provides a greater than 10,000-fold increase in accuracy over standard next-generation sequencing by virtually eliminating background noise and revealing true mutations. We will provide an overview of the technology and some of the applications where it is being used in medicine and life sciences to help improve human health and cure diseases such as:
Early detection and residual disease monitoring in cancer
