- 3-4 podium presentation slots will be selected from the submitted poster abstracts (’short talks’).
- PIs can present posters if they choose; however, one or more lab members (trainees or staff) should definitely do so.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Submit abstracts by COB TBD Late abstracts *may* be accepted, but will not be considered for oral presentations.
- Choose a title that reflects the content of the abstract.
- Include affiliations of all authors. Indicate the presenter of the abstract with an asterisk (*).
- Structure the abstract such that it communicates (a) purpose, (b) methods, (c) results, and (d) conclusions.
- Limit the body of the abstract to 250-300 words. Authors and affiliations are not included in the word limit. Figures and tables are not allowed.
- Indicate whether or not you want your abstract to be considered for one of the 3-4 short talks (there’s a selector at the bottom of the abstract submission page). Presenters of abstracts selected for short talks will be notified 7-10 days before the symposium.
