Welcome to Dr. Greg Aune and Mr. Clint Janson, ACCO’s Newest Board Members!

The ACCO is pleased to introduce Dr. Greg Aune and Mr. Clint Janson as the newest members of our Board of Directors, our volunteer leadership group dedicated to guiding and promoting the ACCO’s role as a grassroots leader in the childhood cancer community. Both Dr. Aune and Mr. Janson bring a wealth of both personal and professional experience to the Board, in addition to their expert contributions to the ACCO, fellow childhood cancer organizations, and the childhood cancer community in a variety of amazing ways. We are so excited at the opportunity to add their voice to the growing chorus of survivors and volunteers dedicated to supporting our childhood cancer warriors and their families. Since 2004, UT Health San Antonio, Greehey Children’s Cancer Research Institute’s (Greehey CCRI) mission has been to advance scientific knowledge relevant to childhood cancer, contribute to the understanding of its causes, and accelerate the translation of knowledge into novel therapies. Through the discovery, development, and dissemination of new scientific knowledge, Greehey CCRI strives to have a national and global impact on childhood cancer. Our mission consists of three key areas: research, clinical, and education.
