UT Health SA Newsroom: The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio moves up in Forbes Best-In-State Employers list

Now ranked 12^th; fifth among health care/social employers.

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio) has jumped to 12^th on Forbes magazine’s list of Best-In-State Employers 2022, from 34^th last year.

UT Health San Antonio made the ranking of 101 employers from all industries, and with major operations in Texas, and is in the top five in the “Healthcare & Social” industry sector. The rankings are based on independent surveys.

“We once again are excited to be included on this prestigious list as a major employer in the region and as a primary catalyst of San Antonio’s $42.4 billion health care and biosciences sector,” said UT Health San Antonio President William L. Henrich, MD, MACP.
