Ignatius Lab and Team “GCCRI Goes the Extra Mile” Organizing Local Alex’s Lemonade Stand “Million Mile” Virtual Event

Alex's Lemonade Stand LogoIt’s that time of year again where we tell everyone what we do. We also remember the children with cancer and know your research will make a difference.

Join us again this year for The Million Mile this September to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!

Last year, we raised over $3,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and walked/ran /biked/swam approximately 1,961 miles!

This was just amazing given how hot September can be in San Antonio. There were a few star performers last year, this year we would like them back and also to add many more of you to the list.

Although the pandemic is making it difficult to be together in person, we are all still committed to the fight against childhood cancer and continuing our research efforts.

Just as last year, there is still a way to help the cause while we are continuing to socially distance. Please sign up and let us walk/run for a good cause!

The Million Mile – Run. Walk. Ride. 2020 registration is now open! Last year was a blast and we’re excited to do it again.

We hope you’re up for the challenge and will join the team again!

Please join the 2020 team! And Post Pictures of you running, walking, biking……making a difference. Also, remember to wear your Greehey CCRI T-shirt this month.

Finally, a big Thank you to Nicole Hensch for organizing our “GCCRI Goes the Extra Mile” group.
